My great uncle Paul Palmer was stalking this buck for about 2 hours (1980) when he realized that the buck was already dead. Apparently died of old age. His son mounted the antlers on a new cape and took this photo. It is 7x8 and 44 inches wide. I don't know what the official score is,.....but it's plenty big.
